Taiwan Releases New Payments For RSCD And Other Causes

The Government of the Republic China (Taiwan) is releasing two new payments to the Solomon Islands Government. The Taiwanese Ambassador to Solomon Islands, His Excellency Roger Luo today presided over the signing of documents conveying the release of the payments by Prime Minister Hon Manasseh Sogavare. The brief signing ceremony was held in the Prime Minister’s Office. The first payment is worth SBD$20-Million and is part of the Taiwanese Government’s support for rural constituency development commonly known as RSCD (Republic of China Support for Constituency Development).
